Kardinal Kardinasalong is the Estonian representative of Germany's Drapilux, considered to be one of Europe's leading fabric producers.

Its latest innovation, Drapilux Air, is something that has never been seen before on the European textiles market. Drapilux Air products contain a brand new substance that not only helps the fabric absorb different smells and dangerous substances, but render them harmless and eliminate them altogether. Of course, in order to do so there must be a sufficient amount of fabric for the size of the room in question: the formula is 1 m3 of space = 1 m2 of fabric. This new fabric will mean that hotels, for example, will no longer need to have separate rooms for smokers and non-smokers, as any residual smell of smoke will disappear overnight. Drapilux Air will naturally also prove useful to hospitals and nursing homes, in which there can often be unpleasant smells. If you sniff the fabric, you will recognise the smell of ozone. The secret of the fabric's substances lies in the chemical make-up of its fibres, which means that the qualities of the fabric will not change while they are hanging, when they are washed or even if they are dry-cleaned. The fabric comes with all of the relevant safety certificates and is completely harmless to humans.

Another interesting and even newer product from the company is Drapilux Bioaktiv. The fibres in this fabric contain silver ions, which destroy bacteria. As such, the fabric is well suited those with allergies and is ideal for use in hospitals, nursing homes, sports and health institutions and hotel kitchens.

Drapilux Bioaktiv fabrics, the latest word on the European textiles market, are available from our store in widths from 140 to 270 cm. Prices range from 300 to 700 kroons per metre if the total amount of the fabric per item does not exceed 20 metres. We are able to offer a discount on larger amounts.

The superior qualities of Drapilux fabrics include:

  • All Drapilux fabrics have the highest fire safety class and come with the relevant Estonian certification. It is thanks to this that many hotels, restaurants, offices, hospitals and ships are long-term clients of Drapilux.
  • Since Drapilux fabrics are renowned for their classic patterns and tasteful choice of colours, they are also perfectly suited to interior decoration for homes.
  • Drapilux fabrics are made from 100% polyester, meaning they are very easy to clean. They can be washed in a washing machine at 40 degrees, and can even be dry-cleaned.
  • Drapilux fabrics are environmentally friendly.
  • Drapilux fabrics are a long-term investment, as their classic patterns allow them to be used for long periods, and additional material can always be ordered. A number of new fabrics also join the range each year.
